Horseback tour: what a great way to spend half day around Quepos! I did the tour in the morning, which included breakfast and lunch at a restaurant with a beautiful view over the river. The tour is very well organised and managed, Jimmy was great. We got some explanations about the kind of forests in Costa Rica and a stop at a waterfall for refreshments. The horses are well taken care of and they’re a family business of about 30 years old. The pick up/drop off service is a big plus!
Our family’s experience with Tyler was relaxing, chill, adventurous at times, and a lot of fun! He took great care of both seniors and young children, helping everyone move from a bit nervous at the start to enjoying every second on horseback by the end. The facilities were well maintained, the food was yummy, and Tyler never rushed us. He was especially knowledgeable about the horses, understanding their personalities and skillfully guiding the herd. Highly recommended!
This was an experience my family and I will never forget. Georgie was our guide and he made an impact in our hearts. He was so informative about the rainforest and taught us SO much. He is so passionate about his country and I found it to be so powerful and beautiful. We did this at the beginning of our trip and I’m glad because it set the tone for how the rest of our trip would be which is the people of Costa Rica are all so wonderful. I highly recommend this tour. The food was also delicious and the scenery and waterfall was beautiful. I’ll think about Georgie for the rest of my life and hope that he and his family stay well.
